Welcome to the official website of BLED4 Workshop

Our aim is to discuss and formulate a global vision for the field of earthquake engineering. We will discuss new ideas and future trends following the recent breakthrough of performance-based seismic engineering in research and practice and consider regional differences. We will build on the tradition of the Bled Workshops initiated by Professors Fajfar and Krawinkler and honor their important research contributions in the field of earthquake engineering.

Location & Transportation

Slovenia is the member of the European Union. So the same visa rules as for other EU countries in principle apply. So no visa is required for most of you (please check if in doubt). Slovenia is also the member of the Schengen area. This means that when you enter any EU port (Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna or Paris for example) you enter Slovenia as well.
